Charities We Support
Theatre That Gives Back
At The Networking Drama Club of Long Island, every performance serves a greater purpose.
As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission extends beyond the stage. Through each production, we proudly support charitable organizations that are making meaningful differences in our local community and beyond.
When you attend a show, sponsor a production, or get involved, you are directly contributing to causes that uplift, strengthen, and serve others.

How We Select Our Charitable Partners
Our board carefully identifies organizations that align with our values of community, service, and impact. We look for charities that:
- Serve individuals and families in need
- Strengthen our Long Island community
- Promote education, wellness, or opportunity
- Demonstrate transparency and measurable impact
Each production may support a different charitable partner, allowing us to extend our reach and support a diverse range of important causes.
Our Commitment to Transparency
We are committed to ensuring that funds raised through our productions are distributed thoughtfully and responsibly. As a nonprofit organization, accountability and stewardship are central to our mission.
Additional information regarding supported charities and impact totals will be shared as our programming grows.
Together, We Make a Difference
The Networking Drama Club of Long Island was founded on the belief that creativity can create connection — and connection can create impact.
By supporting our productions, you are helping transform live theatre into meaningful community support.

Our Charitable Partners

Jacie's Kids
Mission:
Jacie’s Kids is dedicated to providing financial and emotional support to families on Long Island navigating the immense challenges of a child’s cancer diagnosis. They focus on alleviating the "hidden" costs of illness, from paying household bills to ensuring children have toys and clothing during treatment.
Supported Through:
A Pirate Christmas Carol
Production Impact:
The funds raised by our production directly help families cover essential non-medical expenses, such as mortgage payments or transportation to chemotherapy, ensuring that parents can focus entirely on their child's recovery rather than financial survival.

The Michael Magro Foundation
Mission:
The Michael Magro Foundation works to better the lives of children with chronic illnesses, particularly cancer, as well as their families and the medical facilities that care for them. Their mission is rooted in the belief that no family should have to choose between their child’s care and their basic financial needs.
Supported Through:
A Pirate Christmas Carol
Production Impact:
Contributions from our show support the foundation’s direct-aid programs, providing gift cards for groceries and gas to families in crisis and funding "Project SOAR," which helps chronically ill students reintegrate into their school communities.

Hope for Youth
Mission:
Hope for Youth provides a comprehensive continuum of care for children and families across Long Island, ranging from foster care and adoption services to outpatient treatment and crisis intervention. Their mission is to facilitate positive change and provide a stable environment for those who have experienced trauma or displacement.
Supported Through:
A Pirate Christmas Carol
Production Impact:
Our production’s donation helps fund therapeutic programs and life-skills workshops for local youth in foster care, giving them the tools and emotional support they need to build a successful, independent future.
